My associate Franklin and I are still figuring the thing out, and so we have had a few weeks of only filler, but I think that one of the pulls for the blog is that it is live: we only post when we have new material, and we only have new material when we're out gumshoeing. That's the nature of the beast, and it works for us. What I will say, that I'm not sure has been emphasized enough here, is getting feedback. Show it off to some other mugs before you set out. Folks you know will tell you more politely what needs to be fixed than the palookas you'll find on the 'web. It won't work for everyone, but what Ninja Mahoney says is still true. You need to know the scope and most efficient way to work your blog before you get started. These guidelines will work for most blogs, but not all.
