Etsy Provides Innovative Ways to Browse Products

Etsy is a site where people can buy and sell homemade goods, craft supplies and vintage items. This site offers over a dozen unique and innovative ways to browse through products. My top 3 favorites are:

• Pounce – Get an idea of items that might be selling like hotcakes, or best of all, give new sellers some exposure so they can make their first sale. I like helping out the underdog.
• Colors – Search products by color with a fun interface where you can toss items around the screen and sort them any way you like.
• Connections – Select items you like and find similar items based on the favorites of others who like the same items as you. Did that make any sense? Just go try it!

Many of the ways to shop use flash to provide a unique and exciting browsing experience. Each flash presentation is clean and loads fairly quickly, which is nice to see. Go check out this site and let me know – which way to shop do you like best?
