Have you ever wished you could rearrange your taskbar items by dragging them around? Windows 7 may include this feature, but it’s a long way off for most people at this point. So while you wait, here are a couple of solutions.
Taskix is a very small program that lets you simply reorder taskbar items. Taskbar Shuffle lets you also reorder system tray icons and provides a few additional features.
And if anyone calls you “OCD”, don’t let it get to you. They’re just jealous.

I don’t think it would be considered OCD, I rearrange items in my task bar on Linux all the time. When you get used to having the code window in one spot, the terminal window in another and so on, it’s nice to be able to put them back if they get out of order somehow ;)
I’m surprised it’s taken Microsoft this long to add this functionality. It just seems so obvious to me.
